Honey Baked Chicken

Honey Baked Chicken

Marinate chicken pieces in a mixture of honey, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice, then bake in the oven until golden brown and cooked through

Ingredients you will need to make Honey-baked chicken:

4-6 bone-in, skin-on chicken pieces (such as thighs or drumsticks)

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

Juice of 1 lemon

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice until well combined.

Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl or baking dish, and pour the honey mixture over the chicken. Use your hands to rub the marinade into the chicken pieces, making sure they are evenly coated.

Cover the bowl or dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 24 hours) to allow the chicken to marinate.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in a baking dish. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper to taste.

Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden brown and crispy.

Serve the chicken hot, garnished with fresh herbs or lemon wedges, if desired.
