Honey-soy glazed salmon

Honey-soy glazed salmon

Combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, then brush over salmon fillets before broiling or grilling until flaky and tender.

Ingredients you will need to make honey-soy glazed salmon:

4 salmon fillets, skin removed (about 6 oz/170g each)

1/4 cup (60 ml) honey

1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Preheat your broiler or grill to medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.

Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper to taste.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly browned.

Brush the honey-soy glaze over the salmon fillets, making sure they are evenly coated.

Transfer the salmon fillets to a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or a grill pan.

Broil or grill the salmon for 5-7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Baste the salmon with the glaze 2-3 times during cooking.

Serve the honey-soy glazed salmon hot, garnished with chopped scallions or sesame seeds if desired.
